This year, we invite you to participate in the creation of a fresco on the theme of the duty of remembrance
The department of Essonne is full of rural heroes who died for France and/or who had done acts of bravery. Through a fresco in STREET ART we want to pay tribute to them. Examples include: Soldier OCTAVE DELALUQUE (1914/1918) - The Resistance LOUIS MOREAU (1939/1945) - Colonel ARNAUD BELTRAME
This fresco will be UNIQUE in FRANCE and it will aim to pass on to the younger generations the acts of bravery done by local heroes. A new way of communicating with young people.
The project has three objectives:
- Create a unique space in France dedicated to the duty of remembrance
- To pass on to the younger generations a new testimony
- To create a shared work
Your donation is crucial for the future of the project: the operation carrying the project does not have the means to create the mural on its own. Without your help, she won't be able to do it
The cost of the fresco is estimated at 29,000 euros TTC: remuneration of the artist (24,000 euros TTC), purchase of the painting (2,000 euros TTC), preparation of the surface, rental of the gondola/scaffolding, communication, etc.
The Agricultural Social Mutuality has already awarded a grant for this project through the association Education and Memory to enable the reception of young people and transmit the notion of "calling it remarkable and unique for the agricultural world".
We are breaking down the project at a level level:
- Palier 1: $1,000: Rental of equipment (pod, scaffolding and preparation, etc.)
If this goal is achieved:
- Palier 2: 3,000 euros, allows to finance rentals, support preparations, communication and tier 1
- Palier 3: 5,000 euros, allows to finance levels 1 and 2 and the purchase of the paint
- Palier 4: 17,000 euros, allows you to finance all levels 1 to 3 and to participate in the remuneration of the artist 50 euros/p
- Palier 5: 29,000 euros, allows to finance the entire project and to pay the artist (100%). This will allow the public to be welcomed during the construction of the mural (especially schoolchildren respecting the barrier gestures).
Why this project?
The farm no longer has the financial means to protect its heritage. If a disaster happens, we will not be able to do the work.
Also, Thibault and I (Eudes) are convinced that French agriculture is poorly known. That's why we want to create an inclusive, welcoming place to live and serve a societal cause
What does "from fork to solidarity" mean?
We decided to create a sector "from the fork to solidarity" to share values of solidarity by helping to reintegrate the military.
"From the fork": because we will produce and guide our agronomic behavior in more sustainable practices and respectful of the environment. We will, for example, increase the biodiversity of our crop rotation and further reduce our chemical inputs, etc. "
"à": After production, the sector will include processing and sale on the farm. We will transform in our mill, oil mill and laboratory the productions of our farm. These products will be marketed in short circuits and locally to have the least environmental impact. Thanks to the creation of an educational farm, we wish to convey to the guests the love of the land and farm products!
"Solidarity": We hope that our sector will help soldiers in professional reconversion. For this, we will offer training within our structure, pay a portion of the profits. A museum and exhibition halls will be created in order to pay tribute to the military dead for France and the artists of the armies!
It seemed obvious to us to bring together "agriculture" and "army" because we have been involved for many years in associations of "Youth", "memory" and in the reserve citizen with the Military Governor of Paris.
Finally, despite a link rooted in the history of France, between the two subjects, no one presents these two themes while they meet societal needs!
In conclusion, we want to return to the Earth, what the earth gives us!
Our farm is located in a village of Essonne, near Paris (Saint Escobille). This territory is one of the last exclusively agricultural of the Paris basin.
Last year, we invited you to participate in the creation of access for people with reduced mobility and to help us safeguard remarkable agricultural buildings (typical Beauce architecture of the late 19th century) by modernizing them into an inclusive, welcoming and supportive place of life (Old farm sheepers unoccupied for nearly 20 years.)

We met several artists to carry out this project and sympathized with Mateo Hernandez (Audiovisual Producer, Motion Graphic Designer and Painter). He studied Audiovisual Production in Spain, and worked as a portrait artist in a city (Pontevedra).
After his studies, he traveled to Colombia to learn about his roots. On this occasion, he worked as a muralist in a project Galeria de arte al aire libre / Art Gallery in the open air. The project aimed to change the image of Montenegro in Quindio (a city ravaged by violence) from paintings on each house. The aim was to show the diversity of flora and fauna but also the customs of the peasant ancestors.
Now he explores modern culture and the symbolic elements that speak of our current society and their behaviors. With all this exploration, he tries to use comics, to give a personal point of view and a message to society.
Finally, he enjoys working with characters who have changed the way we live and think. He uses contemporary cultural elements to talk about the importance of our history.
