Mon premier emploi était dans une maison de soieries (Bucol), je ne peux donc pas rester insensible au devenir d'un tel musée - c'est avec joie que je participe financièrement à son renouveau

J'espère que le projet comprendra aussi l'installation d'un restaurant, ou au minimum d'un salon de thé: les 2 hôtels particuliers pourraient permettre de faire du musée un lieu convivial où l'on aura envie de revenir, d'amener des amis plusieurs fois dans l'année, etc... Cela augmenterait de beaucoup sa fréquentation (style musée Jacquemard-André à Paris ou n'importe quel petit ou grand musée en Grande-Bretagne).

Mes Parents et Grands-Parents étaient tapissiers-décorateurs à Paris et se fournissaient régulièrement chez des soyeux de Lyon. D'où l'importance à mes yeux de la démarche pour ce Musée. Leur clientèle de connaisseurs se répartissait bien au-delà de notre Hexagone mais se raréfiait dramatiquement à la fin du "siècle dernier".
