Located in the heart of Périgord, in an internationally renowned area, Ferme Goodwill is at Agonac, surrounded by some of the most beautiful villages in France.
This typical farm in Dordogne is the guarantor of the richness of the popular heritage
It is the perfect example of what a Périgourdine farmhouse was like in the last century, with all the characteristics of that time, such as the use of local materials, the frugality of the use of rare and expensive materials, the preservation of the water, reuse and recycling or the use of buildings for several functions.
Our wish is to preserve, restore and perpetuate this testimony of popular common sense that we wish to find.
Thanks to short-circuiting suppliers who have already given us their support, the farm will be fully restored respecting traditions and local knowledge.
Our first supplier will be the company, Aux Bois du Périgord Vert, for wood of local species, collected responsibly.
When we discovered this abandoned farm in January 2021, in the midst of a health crisis, we found the perfect place for "the world after"
The farm benefits from a truly rare situation and layout, with its 3 entrances and its multitude of buildings, it is perfectly suited to receive the public in complete safety.
Therefore, it became clear to us that this place had to be open to everyone to be able to offer a multitude of activities at solidarity prices.
But before we can offer all these services and organize our 4 annual Tiny Festivals
We need you to bring this place back to life.
Put out water/air out
Preserve the most beautiful of the past
2 sheds and 4 buildings converted for a multitude of professional, cultural, or leisure activities
And above all a street for dancing, singing, playing, parading, exhibiting, meeting, and loving each other.
A bubble of benevolence where everything is done so that the Artists and the public are welcomed in a place where the objective will always be to privilege quality and not quantity.
A sanctuary where you can savor Art in all its forms.
A unique place in the Dordogne, traditional land of Art and Culture.
We have already established a program of activities, to be ready to celebrate Culture as soon as the situation allows.
The farm will offer permanent activities such as concerts, open stages, exhibitions, but also 4 annual Tiny Festivals, dances, comedy, cinema, and music.
But this place can only exist if we manage to save this Farm from the gentrification of our rural heritage.
To create an Artists' residence instead of a seasonal rental, a fair and solidarity place instead of a closed property.
The purpose of this fundraising campaign is to finance part of the purchases of materials necessary for the safeguard and rehabilitation of buildings in order to be able to preserve this heritage and to be able to start offering the activities of the farm to the public.
For this, we have established 4 levels of € 6,000, in order to collect the sum of € 24,000
The first level at € 6,000:
So that we can restore the roofs to stop the degradation of buildings.
The second level at € 12,000
So that we can begin the rehabilitation of buildings, in order to start reviving the farm by welcoming the public.
The third level at € 18,000
To enable us to purchase cultural material for the Farm.
(Cameras, microphone, musical instruments, stage accessories, etc.)
The fourth level at € 24,000
To enable us to be able to organize festive activities on the farm (gourmet evenings, balls, games, etc.), thanks to the purchase of reception equipment (tables, chairs, umbrellas, garland, etc.)
But this is not a limit, our financial needs are much greater than this amount, whether for the creation of this place of sharing and meeting or for the organization of cultural events, in particular our 4 Tiny Festivals.
Our team is made up of people who are both specialized and versatile, like the Goodwill Farm.
Sam for his creativity and his habit of managing projects.
Christelle for this knowledge of children and the different pedagogies.
Thomas for this computer and analog knowledge.
Marie for this knowledge of the cultural world and of community life.
But also a roofing carpenter, seamstresses, farmers, shopkeepers, and all the other people who join us during this adventure, to give life to this unique place.
When we embarked on this crazy adventure, to create a unique place like this, we did it because we have the means and the knowledge necessary to do it independently.
The sole objective of this collection is to speed up the work and the purchase of equipment in order to be able to welcome the public as quickly as possible.
We missed it too much, no longer being able to meet, share, sing, dance, and celebrate everything that gives meaning to our lives. So we are counting on you, if like us, you don't want to wait until tomorrow to live again, now is the time to act.
