Monday, April 15, 2019, the cathedral Notre-Dame of Paris is ravaged by a fire. The spire and much of the roof have collapsed. Dartagnans is calling on the entire world to pledge their support.
As a native Parisian living in the USA, I send my heartfelt prayers for the recovery & rebuilding of our dear Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral.

Growing up, one of my favourite films was Disney's The Hunchback of Notra-Dame. Though animated, I was amazed by the cathedrals shear size and beauty. I always wanted to visit, but never got the chance. But if there's any hope of saving it, I'm in.

I first visited the Cathedral of Notre dame in April 1964, at the age of 16. The wonderful experience is still with me 43 years later, and has always been the same on every visit I have made since. I look forward to visiting again once she has been fully restored.
